Bellum Eternus Gallente Death of Virtue	Posted - 2007.12.21 06:42:00 - [1] The goal here: to put some Hype/Kronos PVP footage into a quick vid. Three fights, one song, a little over three minutes, around 52mb. I wanted to show the Kronos in action, instead of being relegated to crap ass mission running. Short, sweet and to the point. No fluffy credits, no fancy After Effects. Just short ranged killing. Maybe the vid would be longer if the targets didn't die so fast. Props to Kookie for accepting a 1v1. So don't tell me it's too short etc., as I know it's short. Download it from Eve-files here. P.S. The song ("Dr. Greenthumb", by Cypress Hill) has some explicit lyrics. You've been warned. The nice thing about the Kronos is that I can switch back and forth between a dual rep Ion setup and a single rep Neutron setup and still use the same rigs, compared to a Hype or a Mega where you're looking at fitting mods. I use both. Each has it's advantages/disadvantages. Because I'm always fighting under gate guns, I can never use my drones (other than as a temporary distraction for the gate guns to reduce some incoming DPS), so all those theoretical DPS figures people put out with 'drones included' don't exist for me. With blaster ships every little bit of DPS counts, and when you're down a good portion of it (20-30% sometimes) due to lack of drones, the Neutrons really help. Allrighty then! BTW, as far as wreckings go, I got a 3700+ hit on a Myrm the other day. o.0 The Kronos can be a monster. All it needs is about 25-30 sensor strength and it's set. That is kinda the only thing that exists to balance them :P If by 'balance' you mean 'make completely useless in a normal PVP environment filled to the brim with ECM drones and Falcons, then yes, it's 'balanced'.
